Summer 2008 Benefit

CG "Rock the Burgh" Concert Benefit               August 14th, 2008

On Thursday, August 14th at 7:30pm at Diesel Club Lounge in the South Side, Christopher's Guests hosted the "Rock the 'Burgh" concert fundraising event sponsored by All Foreign Auto Parts.  Featured Pittsburgh bands included The Pump Fakes, Spendor Field, The Monophonics and A Beautiful View. 

One hundred guests attended the concert, including close friends and past recipients of Christopher's Guests' services, joining to raise funds and awareness while enjoying the local music scene. “Mixing a charity benefit with a rock concert is a fresh way to look at non-profit fundraising, people enjoyed themselves for an evening while helping support an organization that is very near to my heart,” said CG Founder Chris Loffert.

Profits from ticket sales and ticket raffle totaled over $1000 from the event.  Christopher's Guests would like to sincerely thank the bands who donated their time and talent to the "Rock the 'Burgh" event, and also the CG summer interns Lee Anne Pontis, Kelsey Weigand, and Brian Deal who helped plan and execute the event.  We could not have done it without your support!
